Terms of Service

Welcome to WorkTayo Invoice (“the Service,” “we,” “us”). By using this Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. What WorkTayo Invoice Is

WorkTayo Invoice is a tool for freelancers to create, manage, and share invoices for services or tasks rendered. It is not intended for invoicing physical products, and it does not process payments on your behalf — invoices generated here are documents only; any payment between you and your client happens outside this Service.

2. Accounts

• You may use the Service as a guest without creating an account, or you may register for a free account.
• You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent, abusive, or illegal purposes.

3. Free and Paid Plans

• The free plan is free indefinitely and includes the features described on our Pricing page at the time of use.
• The paid plan is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and unlocks the features described on our Pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store your payment card or PayPal account credentials.
• Refunds: if you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@worktayo.com within 14 days of payment and we’ll review it in good faith. We don’t guarantee refunds for change of mind after the feature has been used.
• We reserve the right to change pricing for future purchases; a completed one-time payment is not affected retroactively.

4. Your Content

• You retain ownership of the invoice, client, and project data you enter into the Service.
• You’re solely responsible for the accuracy of invoices you create and for your compliance with any tax, business registration, or legal obligations related to your invoicing activity.
• Don’t use the Service to create fraudulent invoices, impersonate others, or violate any applicable law.

5. Guest-Created Invoices

Invoices created without an account are not saved or stored as invoice records by us. It’s your responsibility to keep a copy (e.g. the downloaded PDF) if you need it later.

6. Shared Invoice Links

Invoice links you generate for clients are publicly accessible to anyone with the link. Don’t share these links anywhere you wouldn’t want the invoice’s contents to be seen.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, WorkTayo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes with your clients, tax consequences, or lost data.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
